Survey on TRS and KCR's Government performance

Recently Nielsen and NG Mind Frame along with NTV conducted a survey in Hyderabad to get TRS and KCR's government performace report from common people. They cailm that they took sample of 54,000 people in East, West, North and Central zones of Hyderabad. They didn't take sample from the South zone which is old city. They also took a survey on GHMC performance and on upcoming GHMC elections. I personally think that this survey on GHMC results would be premature one as the candidates and date were not finalized at the time of Survey. I would not cover the GHMC performance here in this article but I would like to talk about the Telangana's first government performance. What Hyderabadi's think on KCR's performance.

Just to give the background of 2014 State Assembly elections in Telangana especially in GHMC region. Back then TRS party was not popular in Hyderabadi SA settlers and did manage to win just 2 seats in city area. This survey would be a testimony on KCR's performance in Hyderabad region especially Seemandhra settlers. SA settlers who didn't like KCR and his TRS party didn't vote for him in 2014 elections. SA people in Hyderabad got grudges on KCR for dividing state and they showed it in elections by voting to Seemandhra party TDP.

Because TRS party was not popular in 2014 election within Seemandhra people this survey got much importance with respective to their views. Now lets look at the survey results KCR as Telangana CM

Hyderabad people are more than happy with KCR performance as a CM. 27% of the people gave excellent and 46% of people gave great rating. 73% people are very happy with KCR's performance as a CM. Which is great. Only 4% people are not happy with his performance. 21% people gave him average rating. Why not, for the first time after many many years Hyderbadi's enjoyed uninterrupted electricity under KCR government. KCR government laid out plans to make Hyderabad as a world class city, removing slums with proper compensation, developing roads and drainage, and drinking waters many more. Surprisingly KCR is more popular in West zone("Serilingampally, RamChandra pur, Kukatpally,PatanCheru"). West zone is densly populated with SA settlers. Swaach Hyderbad in action by introducing auto to collect garbage from residents. Residents are provided with two separate dustbins to seperate dry and wet wastage.

When it comes t. o TRS government performance 24% people gave excellent rating, 46% gave better rating. 70% of Hyderabad people are very much happy with TRS government and their policies. Surprisingly 73% of West zone people gave excellent rating to TRS government. West zone is densely populated with SA settlers. 23% people gave average rating to the government. Only 5% people are not happy with the government in Hyderabad. If you looks at the percentages, Hyderabadi's are happy with the government. 63% of Hyderabadi's think that TRS party only can solve all the issues in Hyderabad.

Last GHMC elections was in 2009 which was under Andhra Pradesh. Since then many things got changed in AP. There are 150 wards in GHMC and here are the results of 2009 elections. GHMC 2009 Election Results:
